Palm TX and Mobile Back Up Card

Has anyone tried the Palm Mobile Back Up Card with the Palm TX? The Palm TX is not shown in the compatibility list for this card on the Palm One website and I wonder if it works with it. I need something to back up my contact and calendar while I'm on the road and in case of hotsync problems (I just had one where my laptop overwrote all the calendar data I entered into my Palm TX during a two week business trip).
