palm treo 700wx internet problem?

I got in the internet settings and screwed around and i think i messed something up. When i go on internet explorer and type in an address and hit go it says "dialing" then some number. I want to use the internet as my data plan. when it says dialing is it using my air minutes? If so can you tell me how to fix it? or am I just completely crazy and i didn't screw with anything? any help is much appreciated and thanks in advance
