Heya!
My grandfather has just given me his old Palm Treo 600 since I recently destroyed my phone - and no matter how much I search the net, I can not tell if I was to download the MSN messenger app if it uses my text msgs (like my old phone did) or actually connects to the internet and incurs data charges. I'm trying to find the app that is on my old cell (if it is compatible with the treo) that registered each sent/received IM as a text message as opposed to data. I'd hate to have to buy a data plan. Though my Grandfather assured me to use the phone, I don't need a data plan, but if I want to use the perks of it, then I will in fact need a data plan.
Anyone know how the Treo works? I've received a couple of different answers when I called Verizon's Customer Service. I don't think they actually get what I am asking, lol.
Thanks in Advance.
