palm t3 not recognized with virtual pc

hello palmeros !
since i needed to load on my t3 a few programs, i installed virtual pc on my ibook but no matter where i plug the cable and/or configurate the syncmanager... no way to "see" my t3 with windows while it works perfect on the apple side ! plse help if some id?e came thru your mind....
(i'm not sure to be very clear but i hope !)

yes i have (since when i keep it, the sync would revert to iBook from vpc to mac os)

so when plugged and synch started in vpc, just nothing happens and i get the palm message : connection not established
