Palm Pre Plus v. LG Ally

Going to be upgrading from an enV2 soon and these are the two phones I'm looking at since they're a couple of the better looking smartphones in the lower price range (I know I'm not going to be able to convince my dad to get me a higher end phone). Really can't decide between the two.

I really like my Ally. I had a Voyager & the keyboards are simular. The only con is that they haven't upgraded the Android system to Froyo 2.2. That means no Flash player. Still waiting to hear on the upgrade.

Remember that the monthly service is the same if you get a free smartphone or one that costs $200. I'd save up a bit and get what you really want.
 
I don't know anything about the Palm Pre, but I've had my LG Shine Plus now for about 3 weeks and love pretty well everything about it so far. It's basically a slightly upgraded LG Ally.
