They pretty much did just decide to migrate there, but they made that decision long before WWII. What people love to ignore is that populating Palestine with Jews was more important to Israel's founding fathers than saving Jews from the Holocaust.
 
Pretty good point, after the Israeli/Arab war they took land from Palestine for "security" reasons.

But if you think the folks of Palestine walk on water you'd be mistaken. Although, reality, is if the UN decided to take Texas and make part of it "white christian land" and the other part "hispanic catholic land" you think we'd sit around and take that shit? Fuck no, we'd beat some ass and take it back...which is the source of much of the frustration with palestinians
 
The Hamas keep weapon cache's and hideouts in residential apartment buildings The IDF will blanket a neighborhood with flyers and announcements saying when and where they will be attacking and urge people to vacate the area before they do.

Do you expect Israel to just sit back and let Hamas fire rockets over the wall just because they are in a residential area? No, they protect their citizens, if the Hamas decide to put palestinian citizens in danger, then that's something that they need to deal with.

Obviously there is a lot of propaganda on each side but the Israeli's are not purposely attacking innocent people because they want to. The Palestinian refugee's in Gaza do not all actively support Hamas, they just don't have any other choice. Hamas captures aid meant for the citizens and keeps them repressed.
