just think if these two groups of morons weren't religious, none of this shit would be happening
 
well my knowledge about this issue/topic is right around 0% and i would like to bring it up to at least 50-60%

so if possible, i'd like to find a good book/site/source where i can start from the beginning, day 1 kinda thing if that makes sense. as i said, i know nothing about both countries and the middle east and would just like to educate myself from preferably a non-biased source
 
its not about who was where when....history can tell you that the two people lived well together.

The zionist idea of self-importance at any cost is what caused this issue.

Israel was created...why do they need to cling onto the West Bank and Gaza?

There's about 50 other sources, I just googled israel creation and resolution 181 it came up, there's others
 
Yes, it was passed by the UN...meaning it became the official recommendation/proposal of the UN on that particular subject.

It was never implemented...the proposal was not adopted, and the things it called for never happened.

Refer to the Yale link 6SpeedTA95 posted, which is the text of the actual resolution...read section B, "Steps Preparatory to Indepence." Did those things ever happen? Read section C, "Declaration." Did the UN ever make such a declaration? No, you dumb motherfucker, gtfo of this thread and find a shiny object to play with.
