Pakistan defeated India by 54 runs at SuperSport Park Saturday in the ICC Champions Trophy 2009.
Chasing a target of 303, India was bundled out for 248 in the 45th over.

Shoaib Malik was declared man of the match for his magnificent 128.
 
It was a superb match! Great show of cricket! Pakistan is a team full of talent! Congrats to Pakistan!

Here's something I noticed in the match: lack of sportsman spirit! When Gautim Ghambir was run out by Younis Khan he started swearing and swinging his bat around in anger and actually told someone in the stands to shutup! I think that was quite immature. Cricket is not just about winning or losing. It's also about control over your emotions and the proper portrayal of sportsman spirit.
 
Ya, things like that happen in cricket.. And today you can see how Kiwis are gonna crush the mighty Lankans.. Champions Trophy seems to be turning upside down...
 
That's old news now.
Plus it was only 1 game of cricket. And the winning margin was 54 runs so I'd hardly call it a crushing victory.
 
India has already lost in a Champion's trophy match to Pakistan in 2004 in England.This is not new.
However it was a close match where India were in with a chance till the 40th over.India made more mistakes, and lost it.Congrats to Team Pakistan.
