i read on another answer about what is the difference between a painting and a drawing, i just had a discussion with my drawing teacher about my "drawing" which was a comic, and just because i wanted it all fancy i did it on a canvas and used acrylic painting, he said we could use any materials we wanted for this project so i choose those. and he almost took it off the wall because mine was on a canvas meaning i was exiting drawing territory and migrating on painting land, I GET IT! but what about the other ppl's materials, some used ink, airbrush, and some of them even printed the portrait from the computer lab. do you all think its fair since he said he wanted us to experiment, i mean for me it was a drawing, colored it with paint on a canvas, its a painting, but isnt a drawing too?
