i have a 2007 Scion TC. im tired of seeing the rust gather around the unused part of the rotors (covers the hub) as well as the corrosion build up on the calipers. my car is kept clean and this makes it look tacky.
I am thinking about painting them both myself on all 4.
I know that i need heat resistant spray paint
how would i go about doing this?
im not going to put it directly where the pads touch the rotor... the middle of the rotor where the hub and bolts come through the rotor i was going to paint because with the rims i have you can see the rust on that part of the rotor.
do i need to sand anything down at all or strictly use brake cleaner?
