Painting the bathroom?

My mom has recently been buying colorful towels from Walmart because they are on sale and because we need new ones. My mom is also thinking about re-painting and re-doing the bathroom. She wants the towels to match too. But the problem with that is she bought aqua blue, orange, yellow, teal, light green, and light purple colored towels. Painting a bathroom to match all those sounds like it would be a hippie bathroom. Any ideas on how to paint the bathroom to not look like a little kids bathroom and to look nice?

The bathroom would be beautiful done in a light teal with yellow trim and the towels would 'pop' with their colors in that room. Tell her to get a nice white with teal cloth shower curtain, and yellow rugs to pull the room together. I'd hang a nice picture of flowers ... something like VanGogh's Sunflowers would be perfect!

Maybe do a Mosaic with those colours on the wall and paint the rest of the wall a cream or a beige colour.

Hope I helped! :)

I would go with a neutral colour like cream or off-white on the walls and a dark brown tile on the floor. This way the bright towels won't clash with anything. You could also go to your local hardware store and find colour patches to match the towels then see what colours suit all of them, before you go and spend a lot of money and effort repainting the bathroom.
Good luck!
: )

I think a cool tone lite gray would go with the teal light green and blue also it wouldnt look as much like a kids bathroom

paint in a lightish yellow... it matches all those colors basically

and those are kind of beachy colors so if you want to add some fun, make it kind of beach themed... and get shells and stuff
