I am painting my kitchen red, my living room a light beige color,my dining room three walls yellow and one red and by study room a light bluish gray. Can I paint the hallway that touches all these colors chocolate brown?

Yes. But having said that, I think you're getting too many different shades going on.. It might look too "patchwork" by the time you've finished.
I'd take two colors and do variations on them. Beige won't coordinate well with yellow at all; perhaps you do do a deeper beige (like a khaki) in the dining room. I'd eliminate the blue-gray as well, perhaps using the same khaki in the study. You can still use the red for the kitchen.
As an artist, I believe every room in the home should have some coordination with every other room---even if you can't see one room from the other. It keeps a sense of continuity; too many different shades can be disruptive and give you a sense of chaos.
