Painting A-arms On My Car?

All paint will chip from a rock. There is no such thing as rock proof paint. On another note, big mistake painting your engine bay (or any part of your car) with Rustoleum. It is designed for lawn furniture, not cars. It cannot stand up to the heat or fluids that automotive paint is exposed to in the engine bay and will fade out and peel rather quickly.

I plan on painting the A-arms on my car and I just painted the engine compartment with rustoleum semi-gloss black protective enamel and i plan on painting the A-arms and was wondering if i should use the enamel again or acrylic lacquer? because i need something durable that wont chip from a rock or something
