Paint Ideas for teen bedroom?

I have:
-Black furniture with silver knobs.
-Dark, rich purple comforter
-A black and white picture of the Eiffel tower.

I'm 16 years old and would like my room to be a welcoming room but not too dark. I like something to be able to walk in and feel calm. I also love the feel of being in Paris. Any suggestions? Thanks.
 
maybe you should ditch the comforter and put red or even a purple if youd like....but a color that pops with all the dark in your room....make all of your furniture dark and have the walls pop.....i love teen rooms like that considering i am one myself!!!!! =D lolz
