I have had multiple very tender lumps along the bottom of my lower ribs, along the sides of my abdomen, and in my lower back for about 3 years now. They range in size from marble size to almost golf ball size. I am not sure how many there are it is too many to count and it does hurt to touch them. You can not see them, they do not stick out under my skin you can only feel them. They are hard but not rock hard and do not seem to move under my fingers like a cyst would. Not saying they cant be cysts that is just the only way I could think of to discribe it.
I am not sure if this will help at all but I just found out that I am extremely deficiant in Vitamin D and they put me on 50,000 units of Vit D a week for 12 weeks then I switch to 50,000 units a month for how ever long I need to be on it. I also found out that my C-reactive protien is high but they have not tested to see why. From what I read there can be many causes of that and more tests need to be done to rule out a number of things. All they did was put me on Zocor to reduce my risk for heart attack, stroke, and PAD. Also, and I could have the name of this wrong, (I think they called it Hemoglobin H1C) was 5.8 so they are pondering diabetes. I had my 2 hour fasting glucose tolorence test today.
Any help with this would be much appreciated. I am so sick to death of doctors! I have a general practitioner, a gynacologist, an endocrinologist, a cardiologist, and a nephrologist! It is ridiculous considering I am 27 years old. My mom finally convinced me to gather every test result from all these different doctors and take them all to one doctor with a list of my symptoms to see if any sense can be made of it all. I am in the process of doing that now but figured I would give this a shot too.
