painful left side

About a month ago I noticed that my left side was painful to the touch and sore feeling. Its mostly in my left armpit, but radiates into my left breast, sometimes my back and sometimes further down my left side. Its painful if I press on the areas.

There is a lump of some sort on my left armpit as well. I have an appointment this week with my GP but researching online is freaking me out. I'm only 28, have two young children and no family history of breast cancer.
I do suffer from anxiety which has been at an all time high since all of this started.
I just had blood work done and everything was perfectly normal.

Any ideas what this could be?
 
I had a lump under my armpit 30 years ago, and my doctor advised me to stop using deodorants, and use alcohol to kill odor germs. At the same time, a girlfriend living with me then had also a similar lump. We stopped using any deodorant, and the lumps vanished. I haven't used any deodorant since then. I use 99% alcohol. Try it!
 
Sarah your post reminds me of symptoms I had a long time ago. Turned out I was reacting to Aspartame (sugar substitute). I quit using it and I was symptom free in 2 days.
 
My wife is suffering from jaw and left side of the body pain since from 3 years. Doctor has removed left side wisdom teeth for getting relief from the pain. There is no relief from the pain, but it has spread overall left side of the body. Again went to doctor, they said that this problem is there for one in thousand, you have to control the pain by way of taking the soft food and there is no treatment. What is your advise for pain relief ?
