Pain preventing urination - after biking?

I rode for 4 hours on my road bike, assuming a very low position with my elbows over the handlebars, pedaling constantly. I've never assumed such a position before, and although it worked quite well for comfortable long distance pedaling, I've found a horrible result of a sharp pain when I try to urinate -- a pain so startlingly severe that I jump and can't even squeeze a drop out. It feels like it's occurring right about where my penis meets my scrotum, and feels like someone's just chopped it off. It's only momentary, though, and hardly any lingering pain.

It's been four hours since I stopped riding, and I've tried three times to urinate, all with such unpleasant results. I really have got to go, but this pain is so sharp and severe it is preventing me from any success. I'm going to try and hold my pee through the night, and try again in the morning -- hopefully it's gone -- but can anyone tell me what in blazing piss is going on? While I noticed pressure on my perineum, unpleasant a couple of times, but I wiggled my hips and shuffled my position and it seemed to go away, but maybe constant pressure on that area for 4 hours damaged something?

Anyone know what's happening?
