Pain on my left side

I have a dull pain on my left side below ribs which really isnt noticeable unless I sneeze or cough, then it's a sharp pain. The best way to describe it would be If you have ever experienced a cramp from running or swimming in you side. Thoughts?
 
If it has been going on for a while (and thus you can rule out a possible muscle strain) one thought it diverticulosis/diverticulitis. There is a lot of information online, so you can see whether you think that might be it.
