Hello,
I am new to this board, but am so happy to have found it.
During my last pregnancy, I had horrible reflux, and after the baby was born, it never really went away. It took my dr. a while, but she finally put me on losec which worked for a while, but this past summer did not seem to be doing the trick any longer. She has since switched me to prevacid and it is working well. I don't have the reflux any longer. So I am happy about that.
However, when this all started, there was a pain I would get in my neck/throat on the right side of my adams apple. I can feel it from the outside and the inside. It feels like a bruise that just won't go away. It makes me just miserable. There are good days and bad. Some days it is there all the time, some days I barely feel it.
My dr. says it is probaby just a part of my espophagus that is getting irritated but the acid, but now that the acid is under control, it is not going away. She sent me to an ent and he did an endoscopy and said there was nothing there. That was about 2 years ago.
So I am frustrated. I don't know what else to do. This pain is making me miserable, I just want to be normal again, I am way to young to be living like this
Anyone have anything similar to this? How did it get fixed? Thank you for reading.
Edited to add: forgot to say taht I am healthy otherwise, am a vegetarian, am not overweight, no a caffeine frinker....in other worRAB, I am doing everything right.
