Pain in the lower-right abdomen

I have been experiencing some dull pain in my lower-right abdomen that has been around for 1 1/2 - 2 weeks now. I had the same discomfort several months back but it went away. It starts ever so slightly in my lower-right front but it tends to be present in my lower-right back too. This part of it has me worried about it being a kidney issue (however I have experienced no other symptoms). Can stress or anxiety have anything to do with this? If yes, it would not surprise me. I came off a 3 month perscription of Lamasil about 3 months ago, but had my liver enzymes checked before and between each refill. Other than that the only pills I take are a multi-vitamin, an delayed-release aspirin, vitamin B complex, and omega-3 fish oil tablet (each day). This pain isn't constant, it comes and goes.

Hi - Well, you haven't had any replies yet.. how are you feeling? Do you have a temp?
Are you gassy? If there is a temp, well, even if there is not, I'm thinking 2 things.
1 - appendix 2. a "guy problem." I would see a doc if it continues.... sounds real simple, but true. My first thought was really appendix. When I'm sick, I don't always get fevers. I was really deathly sick once, and since then, fevers although a good sign, where docs can tell if you're sick, aren't always there. If I were you, I'd get checked for the appendix thing if it continues. Best wishes, Sherbear38

the one big sign of possible appendix issue is rebound tenderness. this is pain when pushing then "releasing" the pressure. the pain does not happen when the pushing in takes place, but when you release that pressure. see how that feels. FB

I am pretty sure it is not my appendix. I have none of the classic symptoms. I really think it may be symptomatic of an ulcer, as the discomfort seems to flair up when I get agitated about something. Again, the locus of the discomfort is primarily in my middle-lower back on my right side. Thank you so much for trying to help me.
