Three months ago I had a cervical laminectomy, NOW I have problems with my lower back (actually I always have, but now it's really bad). My lower back and right hip hurt soooo much that I cant' sit at the computer, or any place else for more that 10 min. The pain also shoots down my right leg at times. I had an x-ray that showed "minor" narrowing of the L1-L2 discs. Well if it's minor why am I in so much pain? Does an x-ray give an accurate diegnosis or should I get an MRI. I was trying PT but it hurt too much, should I try to stay with it? Does it really help?
Everyone on the spine and nerve boarRAB were so helpful, So I'm hoping this board will be too.
Thanks in advance for any info.
