Some years ago I had about the same thing and it hurt to walk. The doctor had a name for it but I have long since forgot how to say it,but it goes with the arch of the foot. What he done was take a long needle and stuck in my foot from one side to the other side just under the skin. It had crotzone (sp) in it. I had to have two shots about a month apart. I don't know why but they say you can only have three of these in that area or any place the use. He did give a small shot just before hand to help easy the pain in the area he was about to stick the other one. It is a good thing it still hurt pretty good but I'm sure not as much had he not given the deading shot.
