It starts to hurt when I walk around or when I'm standing up cleaning the house and don't get to sit down and rest. I was riding in the car for over 5 hours yesterday and never got to put my legs up and rest them and they were swollen and very painful to walk on. I don't know what's causing the pain in my shins. My husband told me it may be shin splints. It mostly starts hurting when I've been riding to long on trips. We are going to Florida here soon and I will be walking around the parks and stuff there. Last October we went to Gatlinburg and I walked from place to place and then to New Orleans in March and walked from place to place there as well. I was just wondering if I could have gotten it from those places when I'm not used to walking long distances for about a week? I can hear my lower leg making this popping noise as I walk and it hurts when it does that.
