Pain/burning on right abdomen and back

Has anyone had pain and burning on right side of abdomen extending to the back side. This is just below the rib cage and right of belly button. I just return from the doctor and he says he doesnot know what the problem is. He did order some tests and xray that i have to go back and get. I am at my wits end.
 
Yikes. I am so sorry your suffering. This sounds like an ulcer or some type of medical condition. I hope they find out what's wrong.
 
How old are you? Does the pain come and go or is it fairly constant? Worse at night or during the day? After certain foods? Does pressing on the area make it better or worse? Normal urinary function? Normal bowel function? Fever? Pain upon breathing in or out? Any recent injury, or past surgeries?
 
I had my gallbladder removed monday i have upper right back pain i drove yesterday maybe should not have i have no temp or vomiting any ideas or will it just take time any responses
