well 2 weeeks before i got the pain i was working on a building site and doing a lot of heavy lifting .but it wasnt until 4 days after i stopd doing the lifting that it came on. i went out on the friday nite on the beer got up the next morning and startd from there. i dint injure my self or fall over it came on randomly..i my self have a theroy the past 11 months i have gatherd as much information about my pains as possible. i beleave that in certain people you can sort of sometimes do too much work on your muscles, and instead of them snaping or tearing they sort of weaken very slowly until they are that weak everytime you go to lift something that is light its like your lifting something that is heavy. i have done a lot of heavy lifting for 5 years so that would sort of fit in.also do you ever feel the need to go to the toilet either for a no 1 or 2. this is because of your muscles contracting.i beleave the only way forward is prolotherapy... and testostrome. now i no this is clasd as an illegal steroid but if used in the correct doseage it not only heals muscles and basically any thing else that is weak it strengthens them.. so the next time you do

Thanks for the advice Acott,

Personally, I was not doing any "weightlifting". Most of my exercises were without any weight at all. It was more equipment free-exercises. I just feel that something was shifted out of place, and that is causing my GERD issues. I went to a chiropractor and he couldn't notice anything. I wish there was some way that things could be shifted back.

According to your theory about your own issues, you feel the muscles may have become weak and remained weak, right? I know it's painful to work-out when we have all these other issues to worry about, but is it working out that fixes weak muscles?

I did a quick search on prolotherapy and I think it isn't covered by insurance. I hope that I can correct my issues before it comes to that.

your probly right with the working out to fix weak muscles. i have found one thing out though. the reason niether of us have been refferd for an mri scan is to do with money. our nhs over in u.k do not want to keep paying out for an mri scan for what they call aches and pains. you have to have seriouse inflamation over a joint or other area to get 1. i have been refferd back to a pain clinic and am just goin to take it from there..

on your issue , what if it was a ligament or something simular would your chiropractor be able to notice your problem with them been so deep inside your body...?

if you cant get an mri try for an ultresound they are just as good.. i hope the best for you many thanx for writing back...
