PagePlus

I have had Pageplus for about 4 months now. It's great for calls and good for texting. The internet is almost useless on it. I have the page plus V3c RAZR , the browser doesn't have bookmarking or Go to Url :furious: . This plus the fact that the internet is unreliable makes internet almost useless. Often the phone just reloads the page when I try to go to another web site.

Does anybody have a Pageplus phone that has bookmarking and Go to Url ?

Thanks,
Stephen

I think you need to back your truck up.

HF hits it on the head:

I've got a BlackBerry on PP now, and the internet works great. I had a HTC Mogul on it before, and it worked fine, too.

If you want internet on a phone, for best results you need a "data phone", not a phone with a "half-measure sort-of internet" capability. . .

. . and I'd limit your questions to other users of PP V3c phones, not all PP phone users, as the phones they sell are not all the same.

You are going to have the same issues with ANY handset that uses the P+ proxy server. Only smartphones will work well for browsing.

How long will 50 MB last on a smartphone? Depends on how intelligent you are about usage. If you use the regular HTML browser and visit a lot of HTML sites, and stream media, you will use it up pretty fast. If you only use WAP sites and no streaming, it will probably last the whole month easily. Turn images off or use Opera Mini with image compression...even better.

from what i have heard, BB's are the best for low MB web browsing. pair that with operamini, and you'll be golden.

advice: get a phone with wi-fi. when you burn through those 50MB in 2 weeks, then you'll understand why.
