like the title states, these are the 3 phones im debating on so far. i want a smartphone with a good camera, pretty good media functions, and WiFi. i have never even thought twice about a Nokia in the past because of being so happy with SE. but it looks like Nokias smartphones are pretty feature packed, which is why i originally only bought SEs in the past. so what would u guys recommend for the best size, quality, UI, features, price, and functionality. thanks.

I'm a Nokia fan. But, I really like the P990 too. The N93 has a great acm and vid functions and the N80 is a bit of both but pretty slow. All around I would go with the Sony. Its a good cam decent media fuctions unless u need to be a amateur photographer u really don't need the N93. The N80 is good but its not too polished not great battery life. Tis really is what u are comfortable with u know u better than anyone here. Just weigh your options and know what you will use it for!

camera - n93. i'm not sure how good the 2.0mp on the p990 is. i have read some reviews saying it's supposed be as good as the k750 but then in real life p990's camera is a little less capable. one thing for sure is that n80's camera is decent but yet disappointing for 3mp camera.

media - p990. from the reviews, seems like se has done it better than nokia (tho i don't really use n80's media fns)

wifi - keep in mind p990 only supports 802.11b, disappointment if security is a concern.

size - n80, no doubt.

(build) quality- p990, i'd think. n80 is nicely built but it did feel like a toy when i 1st held the device (tho mine's made in finland). p990 is still made in france like the older models, which were pretty well made.

ui - p990, but only if you dig touchscreen.

price - n80, jack of all trades for the $$.

fn - p990, thumboard + decent cam

i think the n80 will suit you well since you don't sound like you need need to have a thumboard. the n93 is way too bulky for what it does, unless pic/vid capturing is your life.

i have heard that you can hook up the N93 to your TV since it comes with (or you can buy seperately, not sure i forgot lol) an RGB cable to do so. does the N80 have this as well? and i have heard that the video recording is superb on the N93, how is is on the N80. i will look into trading my w900 for one of these since the P990 would be my first choice normally, but its way too expensive right now.

Yeah, TV out for N93 is good for your videos and pics. I have been deciding on a phone, and now Im very much leaning to n93.

I read a lot about n93 and lately, p990. Both are good. n80 I read is slow and got terrible battery life, even for a smartphone.

Anyway n93 for me, cuz the video, though not as good as a dedicated camcorder is nice for a phone(the best to date)... and Hell, I wont be bringing my camcorder everyday!

Plus I see it this way: I love to go to concerts, WWE events, etc... I cant bring a camcorder... but I can bring my "cellphone" right?

Though I read some problem with the firmware, which of course they just released. Not sure of the results since Im yet to read one.

heres a quick question, what has better video recording, the N80 or the SE W900 that i currently have. the N80 looks like a great phone, but if it cant record at least 30fps at a decent resolution (320x240 prefferably) then i might end up sticking with my w900 and just using bluetooth to connect to my computers internet connection like i have done in the past because Wifi was the deal killer to me...

but i need good video recording because things come up in my life that i need to record (fights, concerts, offroading, racing, etc)...

30fps? Go with N93... the best video phone in the market for now. Fights, concerts, etc? Were practically wanting same thing to record. N93 is the way for now...
