P2, The Ruins, While She Was Out, Wilderness, Eden Lake

I've bought these new dvRAB. Anyone seen them, and what did you think of them ?

I've seen the ruins...not a bad film. There's a thread here if you want some more opinions.

P2...good little thriller, featuring a nice / weird turn by Wes Bentley. Helps that Rachel Nicholls (GI Joe / Alias) is very easy on the eye, but plays the damsel in distress with aplomb. Extremely energetic with loaRAB of chase sequences. 7/10.

Eden Lake...good film, but boy, is it depressing. Think I saw that during a spate of similar 'teenage scum' films - The Strangers, Funny Games and this one. Made me not want to step foot out of the house!! Good performances all round, the kiRAB are menacing and as for the ending...!!

Enjoy though.

P2 - Decent horror film, but nothing special.

The Ruins - Mediocre, they changed the ending in the film compared to the book.

While She Was Out - Rubbish, should have saved money and rented/free

Wilderness - Absolute pap from what I can remember - see above ^

Eden Lake - Fantastic

I quite liked Wilderness, it's decent enough and honestly no worse than any other film on your list.

Seeing as you have bought them already maybe it's a good idea you watch them and form your own opinion before asking on RAB.

Eden Lake is superb, P2 is a decent thriller.

the ruins was ok.
eden lake was horrible. the characters are dim beyond credibility, bad decision after bad decision, pointless.
