I just love the look on Holly's mothers face when the priest starts singing along to a bit of Gerry's favorite song in the pub during his memorial service.
I absolutely this movie strong, sexy cast and great storyline and fantastic soundtrack - I have had The Pogues - Love you till the end on repeat for like a week now it made me laugh and cry - Gerry B is my new crush he is soooo sexy lol and that smile is to die for - JDM, James (it threw me for a sec seeing him with the dark hair lol), and Harry were all fab and of course Hil was lovely all throughout the movie - she is such a diverse actress which is what makes her so great cant wait for the dvd
I soooooo wanna see that movie!! Read the book last year and loved it to death!! A friend of mine watched it and told me the entire theatre was crying!
This movie was adorable and I'm not normally a crier.
The last line from him 'P.S I will always love you' killed me and all my girl mates when we watched it.
Favourite scene....hmm thats really tough....
- one of my faves is when Gerry does his strip tease and the brace thing hits him in the face :lmao: - he is sooo sexy and hilarious at the same time - I laughed so hard in that scene - just his facial xpressions are enough to set me off....
and also when Holly goes to the club/bar where Gerry is singing and he walks through the crowd singing to her - he doesn't take his eyes off of her the whole time - I love that - he has such a piercing connection with his eyes - very cute scene and the look of love is just bliss
and when the girlies are stranded on the boat and Sharon announces she's pregnant and Denise announces she's getting married - and poor Holly is just sitting there it just breaks my heart....and I can somewhat relate - all your friends are moving on with their lives and taking the next step - while she has no-one - she just looks so defeated - but still trying to be happy for her friends at the same time....its a difficult thing to do....even though its sad - i still like it
Yeah. I teared up a bit during some scenes. This reminded of an English teacher I had. She met the man of her dreams, married him, lived in pure bliss, then she lost him not a year into the marriage. I was a college freshman when she taught me and I will never forget her story.
This movie touched me because of that and I cried toward the end with the mother/daughter scene when they are sharing the stories of their husbands and how they miss them.
Tina, the art is gorgeous. The colors, it's so soft and amazingly blended.
