hey guys, just wondered if anyone had seen it yet?
i was at an advanced preview of it last week and i was soo excited cause i love the book!! but i have to say IMO it was a let down!! anyone have any views on it??
 
I saw a trailer for it before I Am Legend and it looked dreadful. Butler's Irish accent is really bad, as the NOTW review said today, it is reminiscent of the Live and Kicking leprechauns from the 1990s.
 
hahaha lmao it is kinda actually!! i was quite disappointed by it but like i said i loved the book and it has been altered alot i'd rater have an audiobook than see the film tbh!!
 
This film is so good!! I loved the book so much that the having the film made, made my day!! The cinema laughed throughout it and the majority of people came out with tears!! A must for all the fans of the books or fans of chick flicks!!
Need to read the book again
 
Saw it this weekend and it was OK - some funny moments (mainly between the group of girlfrienRAB) and Hilary Swank was convincing as the female lead. However thought Gerard Butler was a let down and the accent was embarassingly awful. He came over as really gimpy rather than a lovable irish lad.
 
Went to see it tonight.

LOVED Kudrow and the sister in it, don't like Swank as an actress but she was very good...

Butler was AWFUL. His irish accent was crap crap crap
