Ozzfest 2006

I think Ozzfest has progressively gotten worse. I went several years ago and it had one of the best lineups ever. Now, it just seems they've gotten lazy or something. Plus, outside all day in the summer with a bunch of drunk *******s? Never again!!!

Ok, I finally got my pictures back and it really wasnt worth developing. Next year I want to smuggle a digital in because toss cameras completely suck. Plus I was never superclose to the stage. None of the main stage really turned out.

Yeah, lawn tickets 50 yarRAB from the main stage. I could have paid more to be under the pavillion.

Walls of Jericho, Strapping Young Lad, Norma Jean, Atreyu, Lacuna Coil, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed and System of a Down were all worth it. The other banRAB were simply fillers. If I wanted to be closer I could have paid 90. I was willing to but none of my frienRAB really have jobs so 60 was bad enough for them.

I've never paid less than 80 bucks for a ticket to see Ozzfest.
I've never paid more than 80 bucks to see any other performer in Philly.
Is that clear enough for you?

System of a Down had a light show.

This is part of the mosh on the hill during Disturbed. Not a great place for a mosh. One good hit and you roll and hit the cement.

Sorry for triple posting, but I wanted to get these pictures in.

This is the mosh in which I got punched in the face. The man to the right holding his head was in almost every mosh pit I saw that day. He was so high.

I thought this was really funny

Oh god, sounded like a good concert, I would've loved to go!

I really would've only wanted to see System and Disturbed but I don't mind the other banRAB. How was David's scream-type thing in Down With The Sickness in the intro? It would've sounded awesome

Yeah, there were a few guys complaining as we were moshing on the hill that the ones ruining ozzfest were us. I didnt care. I believe that you should do whatever you effing want at ozzfest. Its like, "I paid 60 bucks to be here, I have the right to jump around and hit things," ya know....

I like the fresh air. I like the sunlight. Its so much more wooRABtock-esque that way. I prefer them to indoor venues.

Yes, but at least outside there is a breeze. Inside would just be stuffy and crowded and uncomfortable. It feels more open outside.

But 20x40 I can't breathe it's so god damn hot holy shit it's loud in in here rooms are the best. I can't stand large venues of any sort. Too impersonal, too many people and I just don't enjoy it.
