Hi guys im new to the site and it looks like theres tons of info about everything, a few lost nights coming up lol

So being an Aussie im probably a minority here so lets hear from all the Aussie C109R or other Boulevard riders

I'll kick it off

Pete W
Maryborough QLD

Will be picking up my C109R k9 model in 3 days time, replacing a customised VTX1800 that got t boned by a doofus who cant read stop signs.

:welcomes: Aussie Steve is, well, an aussie... so I'm sure he'll see your tag line there!

Welcome to the site. It's a grand one!

Hi Pete

I am from Melbourne, welcome to the site.

Please post up your experiences with your C109R - I am sure there are heaps of people that would one day like to upgrade :)

Cheers
Chris

Hey Pete, you picked a real nice bike. I have had a blast with mine. I'm just waiting for things to warm up now so we can go riding.
Lots of good info on here.

Don, I know what you mean. I've been getting a day permit myself whenever it's dry and not-so-cold. Guess I'll put the Nomad back on the road in mid March followed by the C50 in mid April. Can't wait...

LOL all you guys who cant ride because of the cold, damn that must suck, its about 30-35 celsius (for the Canandians) and 85-95 farenheit (for the Americanos) here at the moment.
I ride here in Maryborough Qld all year round, even in winter we ride here after about 10.00 in the morning most days.....
The roads might not be the most bendy and twistie but being able to ride 12months of the year is AWSOME
Just to rub it in some more im sitting here 8 oclock at night in shorts and tshirt with the aircon on lol....

We hit 13C yesterday. It was beautiful!
Roads were very wet and bike was VERY dirty, but man it was worth it!!
Little gravel here and there. Calgary doesn't use sand for roads in winter, it's pea gravel and can become quite dangerous where it gathers in intersections if you're not taking corners slowly
