Oxygen sensor for 1993 Toyota Corolla?

Can I use a oxygen sensor for a 1993 Toyota Corolla from the junkyard or auto dismantler that works just as good as a new one. The parts store quoted a price of either $71.XX or $110.XX . Both prices are expensive on my tight budget and the mechanic already cleaned the old sensor and it didn't pass the smog check. What do you suggest?
