Oxycotin

My son tried to go to a detox center for oxycotin but could not stay there but wants to quit the pills. I saw this about catapress and since he has not started withdrawl and is only getting the sweats would this help him ? He wants to stay home and do this and I really need some help. Please I need info he is my only child and he is 19 and he started doing pain killers when he broke all the bones in his foot and I did not know he was still doing pain killers and I am so upset and I need some help guiding me along with home detox.

Definitely read the sticky at the top of the page for some at home things to get in order to help you through it. I came off Oxycontin back in May and it is rough but I read those tips and they really helped. Best of luck and please post any questions you might have.

First don't be upset with your son. Getting off of Oxycotin is very hard and a difficult process. Besides the physical cravings for the drug, there are also the mental cravings. He's going to need your support as much as possible in the next week.
