Not a problem.
Keep the TX in a carry-on bag, so you have access to it once the plane is in the air. I've carried mine in my pocket, and going through security at the airport is the only hitch. Once you get to security, pull it out, place it in the basket for scanning, then pick it up again on the other side. If you keep it in a carry-on bag, you'll avoid any overly eager security person who may want you to show it to them, and make sure it's really a computer, etc.
The flight attendants aboard the aircraft will tell everybody when you can pull out your cellphones, computers, PDAs, etc. You can use it the whole time.. except during take-off and landing.
Bring along your A.C. adapter and U.K. power plug (my TX came with a bag of overseas adapter plugs). The largest one in the bag will be the one for U.K.

I travel with my T5 to Europe all the time. I just leave it in my carry-on bag when going through security. I've never had them ask me to turn it on.
If you don't have a travel charger, get one. It's about all you will need.
As for the flight, it will be listed as one of the electronic devices that must be turned off during take-off and landing. Other than that, you will be fine.
Hav fun in the UK, I lived there for a few years and get back to London every once and a while. I love that country, great culture and people. Just be careful if you drive!

I travel with my T5 to UK regularly and agree with majormadmax - I have never taken mine out of my handbag and no one has ever asked me to turn it on or anything. You can generally use it once the aircraft is well up in the air. I have noise reducing headphones and generally listen to my audio books in flight. Apparently if you travel business you can get a charger which can charge the pda in flight however, being a chronic cattle class traveller, I use a battery extender which uses AA batteries and can give enough of a charge to ensure that I have power for enough of the trip from Aus to UK. Once you are there, the palm travel charger works like a charm.
