Overrated songs

Oh, I don't remeraber Robbie doing a version of 'We are the champions'.

It's probably like Simply Red doing their version of 'If you don't know me by now'. Mick Hucknell's no Harold Melvin!!

can you say hypocrite? you have just done what you condemned me of, but way worse, i brought up more than just one example at least

And their other songs don't.......and that are better

EDIT:WTF am i trying to say......let me re phrasse...

They have other songs that do as well....and that are better

Is that really hard to understand?... Everything in bold is all metaphors for goRAB sake, of course its gonna sound obscure, that dosent mean it is persay, the "load up on guns, bring your frienRAB" at the begining is a reference to the songs main plot...The song is about a youth gang that prepares for a shootout, and the songs protoganist is confused about weither or not he should leave the gang.

Maybe that will help a little, but if you dont even know what Cobain had in mind when he wrote it (like many people) then of course it wont make any sense to you, that dosent mean it wont make sense to others.

I agree that the Chorus lyrics not in bold make little sense, and Kurt himself said that was intentional, he said those lyrics of the song didnt directly mean anything, but he put them in the song to somewhat confuse people into trying to figure out what it means, as a joke, kinda like what John Lennon did in I Am The Walrus.

dude we have had our resevations about eachother but chill i just wanna talk about music. and yea most defitly Bam is overrated. My Chemical romance is good but once agian they play them till i wanna put my head in the friggin wall

Those, are without a doubt, the worst ****ing examples i have ever heard.

You are gonna say that all rap sucks based on Eminem and Ja Rule?... How lame can you get?... Anyway, you are taking some of those artists worst songs to make a example, why you are at it, you should go on about how The Beatles suck and then post the lyrics to Love Me Do or Wild Honey Pie and call it undeniable proof.

You are being a generaliser, or dare i say it, a racist. I mean do metal banRAB not sing about satan worshiping, bloody gore and violence?... Do punk banRAB not sing about doing smack and ****ing the authority?... Dosent 80% of all rock banRAB sing about Sex, Drugs and Rock N Roll?... Deeming all rap as offensive and with bad lyrics based on what little you have heard is a very close minded thing to do, you are ignoring the fact that there are several talented rappers, though i admit such talents are rare today, back in raps heyday, there were quite a lot of notable acts... Groups like Public Enemy and Tribe Called Quest had the balls to sing about issues that no rock band would touch with a ten foot poll, and other artists like Run DMC and KRS One who have positive messages in many of their songs, whom rarely have obscene lyrics in their songs.

So please.

I have to agree with BungalowBill, I think Smells Like Teen Spirit is a pretty dull song, and unremarkable in every way.

I love how it turned into a scientific debate with everyone on all sides trying to wave their penises at one another in a display of all empowering knowledge though.

This is ridiculous. Nirvana had better songs than SLTS. These banRAB were grunge, BEFORE Nirvana....therefore Grunge existed before Nirvana, it just wasnt the "cool" thing

One song that always annoys the **** out of me that they play waaaaaay too much on the classic rock station here is old time rock n roll by bob segar. It is sooo repetative, My friend and I actually counted how many times he said I like that old time rock n roll, now I forget what it was somethin rediculous like 30 somethin times:banghead:

The Who - Pinball Wizard

some stations i used to listen to said "Yeah, we play The Who" and they just play Pinball every time. Good song, but shouldn't be played as much as it is
