Overplayed Rock Songs

Don't hold me to my word on that story - that's just what I've heard/read somewhere, at some point... I may have even dreamed it. Who knows? I'm pretty sure I didn't dream it though. I think.

Different Class is the only one I bothered with. I almost got to the end and thought "not for me thanks." we're going back a year or two since I last heard songs other than Common People.

I'm Your Man is a good album. It's very different from his earliest stuff though since it's not really folk music at all. It has a couple clunkers on it unfortunately, but it also has some of his best songs IMO

I don't think they are going to be ground breaking, that era of music has been and gone. Everyone has pushed their creativity to the very edge, I don't think anyone can push it any further. But that isn't a bad thing. So what, things aren't going to be fresh and innovative. People will still use their influence and we'll hear it in older artists, banRAB' influences will be evident and we'll say "oh, they're reminiscent of ....." and that's a great thing. I can't wait to see what the 10s will bring. I hope it's not a load of generic synth pop.

"Don't Stop Believing" gets way too much plays on anything, "Lights", "WinRAB of March", and "Feeling that Way" deserve more attention.

I saw them live last year.

I was faster at moving out of the way.

I'm only really a fan of Kasabian for nostalgic reasons, they're not awful, but 'Empire' was so overplayed that I can't stand the song. They're good to put on a jukebox in a rowdy pub and watch your best friend stamp her feet and shout along to... (or I may be on my own with that one)... Saying that, I did really enjoy seeing them. They put on a fine show.

Generally, the only radio I really listen to are local stations or Radio One (which I'm pretty sure causes a small piece of my soul to die everyday). So anything by Coldplay or Nickleback will start my teeth grinding. 'Sex on Fire' by KOL and 'Don't look back in anger' by Oasis seem to be on an hourly rotation.

'Living on a prayer' by Bon Jovi is played far too much on local stations. There's just no excuse.

I don't know it.

I've listened to his first 4 albums (all essential listening) and then a couple of others. Don't recognise that song at all.

That song sounded a bit cack if I'm honest, I thought you were trying to say he was rubbish or something.
