erm, is there anywhere else I could get overnet lite, or will I have to wait 'til march? (impatience is one of my virtues lol :D )
just got emule and trying to get to grips with it, is overnet more user friendly?
yes boss go here, we hos it ourselves

and yes alot more user firendly then emule, less stuff to configure

Man this client rocks.

Because its pro are we getting queue priority over others or just a ad free version?

I've had also had it tell me that i was behind a firewall but the indicator on the bottom left hand corner tells me its open.
I do have kerio installed and gave permision for all its requirements.

It seems alot have users climbed on board last night it had 1.8 million online :o

The Gui looks crap but who cares when your getting your files at decent speeds. :D

hi all :)

where do i download Overnet Lite from?! i tried the links at the first page of this thread, but they dont work... :(

thanks,
tralalala

Sorry about links not working, but I've been very busy at school this week. One of my friends are getting a new router very soon and he'll powershare the file on eMule. ;)

I'll try to see if I can create a mirror for you guys, but such services where the account aren't closed after 2 hours are hard to find.

Yep emule and overnet use the same ed2k link hash.

And theres no harm in trying, but to be sure do a test sample, copy over a single set of files (part001.part, part001.met etc) to another area and tell overnet to use that location.

Just had two questions about overnet-lite

>>Does anyone know what firewall settings we use for overnet lite?

>>And, for we WINDOWS ME users who can't install the PRO.DLL, does that mean that we aren't geting as fast a downloads as those that do? In other words, do we need the pro.dll to get these fast speeds...??

Thanks!!!!!!!!

man... that link from the 250free.com site doesnt work for me, and i tried the other way you said musleman.... but it aint working, so is there any way you can get me the file that was on the links at the beginning of this thread??

I think Overnet is great. Can anyone tell me if it has ipfilter capabilities (ipfilter.dat from Emule)?
It doesn't have any IPfilter. But just get and install Sygate Personal Firewall PRO (Between the 2 of us, you can get it at ShareReactor), and its IPfilter feature. ;) B)

its a false reading that only norton and systematic av does, no other av does this

Options->Threat Catagories/Auto Protect->Exlusions and pick overnet.exe
