Overnet Lite

erm, is there anywhere else I could get overnet lite, or will I have to wait 'til march? (impatience is one of my virtues lol :D )
just got emule and trying to get to grips with it, is overnet more user friendly?
 
Here is someone create a loader/patch for edonkey 2000 v0.52

It was made recently and need more tested.

Sorry to be a Newbie here but,

I have a question about "Overnet"

Do you use the same ED2K links that you use in E-mule?
Can I use my existing Download parts that are not finished on E-mule?

That will be hard to do since I don't have a clue about in whitch format Overnet is saving its settings.

Really cool stuff Tmpj. Edonkey lite works perfectly. However Overnet lite does not work on windows me. When I load it up I get an error message saying that there was an error with the file "pro.dll" (I am then unable to go to task manager and the system just crashes). Is there a work around to this? :helpsmile:

(I did try it on windows 2000 though and it worked ok on it. IS it just an issue with windows me?)

Same here... eMule is not so good for me... :(
But Overnet Lite does the job, and much faster too!!! :D
 
hey mussle did u look at that new perviewer, edwatch if any1 know how to make that evil error message go away. now what im doing is i have the previewer in my temp folder (i use overnet) and when i start it up it just gives me an error. am i doing this right? :unsure: i want to use this 1 since iv been getting to many probs with lanviewer and the fact that there is ALOT of fakes in movis right now. trust me :lol: :lol: :lol: (such as i d/led lotr return of the king and it was freekign chasing amy!!!!!!!! :lol: :lol: ) but thats about it.
 
hello new to k-lite forum..

ive been sorta in a long search for something to help me search for files without the super scare of spy/ad/virus mumbo jumbo. been doing a lot of reading about this overnet lite on this thread and it seems ppl are really satisfied. so i got it going..and so far its working perfectly!..

its been so long since ive used a p2p program, ive been sorta stuck and i sorta recommend downloading off newsgroups..well if u are subscribed to a service that gives u access to newsgroups. anyways, the only real drawback which isn't much is that u cant search and get wut you want exactly when u want it for newsgroups..so its always sorta helpfull to have overnet or some p2p software that gives u that ability to search and get results quickly instead of requesting and waitng

..but um. overnet lite is doing a fantastic job thus far. um so much props to this program..and thanx to tmpj for posting it up!!! my search for a good p2p is completed..for now hehe.
