Overexposed main villains

Whilst I wouldn't say Venger from Dungeons and Dragons wasn't over-used, I would have liked to see some of the other interesting villains we glimpsed get more exposure (Kelek, Warduke) etc.

They did get it just right wth Taimat, however. She wasn't over-used, and that helped her maintain that air of menace very, very well.

While I really like him as a character, colonel Olrik in "Blake & Mortimer" is pretty overused, both in the comics and the cartoon adaption. In fact, it has gotten to the point were the authors don't know how to properly fit the poor guy into a story.

Still, a "Blake & Mortimer" without Olrik would be pretty strange, of course he didn't appear in "The Diabolical Trap" but that one's never been one of my favorites (although, oddly enough I enjoyed the cartoon adaption more than the original comic).

Then there's of course a favorite villain from my childhood: Dr Claw, was there an episode of "Inspector Gadget" that didn't include him? If so, I haven't seen it.

Megabyte was hardly 'overused'. He was in most every episode, but he was always good, he never really got old. And when he would have gotten old they usually brought in Hexadecimal for a quick break.

Chase Young was so overused in season 2 of XS. But I hate him so I'm biased. :P

I never saw the later episodes of PPG but didn't they start using the Rowdyruff Boys quite a bit in the last season, almost as a type of crazy fan service?

Additionally, they sure used Mandark a lot in the later Dexter episodes, didn't they?

Gargamel from the Smurfs.

Also, in Aladdin the Series, they were planning on making Jafar the main villain of the series. But the producers felt that Jafar was such a great villain, that they didn't want to keep bringing him back like Gargamel.

Oh, I remember Duke Sigmund Igthorn! Was he the guy that had Shreaky and Beastly for hench-people?

I remember the Beagle Boys. I bought the 2nd volume of Ducktales on DVD not to long ago, lol. The most favorite and memorable villians for me. Exactly how many BB family members are there? I lost count....

Drakken is so freakin' hilarious! Especially in "Stop Team Go" when he tried to open a pickle jar using a big laser, and nothing happened except a crater in the floor, jar intact!:D roflmao.

About some of the earlier posts above, I kinda don't think Magica(Ducktales) and Negaduck(Darkwing Duck) weren't very over-used. I rarely see the episodes that they were in. I think the villian that appeared the most in Darkwing Duck was Megavolt.

The main Beagles - the ones who definitely appeared the most - were Bigtime, Burger, Bouncer and Baggy. Another set of Beagles - Bebop, Bankjob and Babyface - only appeared in the first season. Of course there was also Ma Beagle, and various one-shot family members such as Megabyte and Bomber.
