Clerks: The Animated Series
Ed, Edd n' Eddy
American Dad
Metalocalypse

Actually, David Spade & John Goodman never Reprised their rolls as Kuzco and Patcha in the show. Only Patrick Warburton And Ertha Kitt stayed as Kronk and Yzma.

OverRated:

Robot Chicken - Too many bad parodies and mindless violence

Moral Oral - doesn't religion have enough trouble without this show making it worse?!

Family Guy - the first three seasons were good, but when they brought it back in 2003, it went down hill.

South Park - same reason with Family Guy.

Inuyasha - They never finished the story and the main character was treated so horribly.

The Naruto Anime - it is notorious for having the most number of filler episodes and the poor kid has to put up with so many hard to please people and was treated so horribly!

Drawn Together - So much mindless sex humor and bad classic cartoon parodies.

Underrated:

The Real Ghostbusters - it is the only successful animated show that is based on a movie.

Transformers - The very first show was considered the worst show ever animated but it has so many memorable characters and moments.

The Simpsons- it is said that the humor is gone but it has made 400 EPISODES (longer than any other animated show) and FINALLY a movie, a comic franchise and a successful GTA3 inspired game.

Hanna-Barbara toons - they deserve a better rep. They were the guys that got animation to tv!

Captain N, Super Mario and Zelda - be appreciative that these shows based on games were actually good.

Looney Tunes - a great franchise that deserver better new shows and movies and respect.

Disney and anime - nuff said

I think people should probably be listing precisely whom is overrating or ignoring these cartoons. I mean, a lot of people are listing Scooby Doo as overrated when no-one likes it. I suppose the reasoning is that it's somehow managed to become cemented as a cultural icon, but still... it looks weird listing it as "overrated" alongside cartoons that people actually like.

It's not so unusual. After all, 'overrated' isn't a synonym for 'hated', it just means that a show receives more praise and hype than it deserves. It is possible to like a show and recognize that it's overrated. For example, I'm a fan of both Animaniacs and Futurama and I know that both shows tend to be overrated by certain segments of their respective fan bases. Even the staunchest admirer of SpongeBob Squarepants would have to concede that the show is vastly overhyped.

Well in that case, I'd like to add that I think Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is overrated.
That and Danny Phantom, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, Ren and Stimpy, Bratz, Peanuts, Transformers, Tiny Toons, South Park, Invader Zim....
Just to name a few.

AD: Jake Long has a pretty big fanbase and people seem to like it a lot, but I never understood the appeal.

I didn't list cartoons, just because I didn't like them. I listed Spongebob, and I quite like that show. I listed them because I don't understand the appeal or another aspect. I didn't intend to be snobby, and if any of you feel that way, my apologies. But really, people needn't get offended just because someone put down a favorite cartoon of theirs. It's a matter of opinion. You don't see me whining when people put Futurama under overrated, and that's my favorite show.
