LOL.
I have overdrawn my account so many times. I'm REALLY bad with money.
I got a letter in the mail the other day. An "Official notice" from the "Fourth Judicial District Attorney" office. I wrote a bad check to Safeway for $27.58 in June. Complete accident.
NOW, I have to pay for a class ($165) and attend it on a weekend. Another $55 in bounced check fees.
So that fucking check for $27.58 is now costing me $247.58
I called them. Safeway NEVER sent me anything. No letters, no phone calls. They didn't even try to run the check through my account again. Apparently, they don't have to.
Anyways. I have $116 in my account and two checks out for $50 each. That will leave me $16 to last me two weeks. I am going to have to withdraw $50 in cash today. Hooray for overdraft fees.
I feel your pain, however it's not the end of the world. The feeling it gives you is one of doom. It'll pass, just don't let it happen again. Write everything down in a check register or something. If I did that, I wouldn't have this problem.
