Outrage with obama over Iranian American being jailed, is it fair?

people seem to have a short memory. i have seen how upset people are, and blaming Obama (as usual) however, i never heard a peep from the Republicans when Iraqi Extremest were kidnapping Americans and chopping off there heads. Where was the outrage, and blame on Bush for not going over and saving them?
Ok, so if they were not a government organization, why was Obama blamed for being "to slow" in helping the captured captain. (I know most people think that it should have happened in a day like in the movies)
 
I don't blame Obama for this, and as far as the Captain being rescued, what bothered me is Obama seems so unsure of what to do. He is our President now, someone said "Well, he is still green, give him a chance", well great. Suppose you went to the doctor to have surgery and he castrated you by mistake, and someone said, "Oh well, he's only been out of school for three months. give him a break?" Would that be helpful? He is going around the world, apologizing for our country and kissing up to terrorist leaders and dictators. He is bowing to Kings. He is making us look really weak. I don't want another 9/11. That is what bothers me. He openly admits he has much to learn, he accepted a book from Chavez and didn't even know what he was accepting!!! Really, I don't trust him, the world is a dangerous place, and they hate America. We have to at least appear tough. Its not Friday anymore Olan, no one is gonna put their differences aside and share a bottle of Jack Daniels.
 
Seeing as how the hostages under Bush were taken by organized groups who did not operate under any particular government I see the two situations as apples and oranges.

I don't defend either president or bash them for things beyond their personal control.

A "rescue" means war in this instance. Diplomatic measure can still be taken after the fact of the conviction to free this reporter.

All of this condemnation and blame is useless.
 
I will never, ever be confused with an 0'bama fan.

In this situation, I am perfectly willing to blame Iranians for their own bad behavior and not the president of the United States. That would be bizarre.

That's why I find BDS so bizarre.
 
Most americans were aware of the be headings in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine we went to war with 2 of those countries. What will our government do this time ? I know we can send them a letter hoping for dialog and good will.
