I am having a problem that I can not figure out. I am hotsynching through the USB cradle , using the outlook conduit, and have office 2003. The problem is that everything in outlook synchs fine except for calendar. I can go into custom and change the way it synchs but it always goes back to do nothing. I've included a log if this can help anyone help me. I've gone through and read past posts of people getting errors with 2003 but I don't get any errors.

Thanks
Mark

I suspect that you are using a TX or a Treo 650 as this problem is unique to those two devices:

If you attempted or setup versamail to sync wirelessly to the TX then it will tell you during that setup that the Calendar portion will also be disabled to sync wirelessly. Most people don't catch this and as far as I'm concerned it's wrong to do so but blame Palm.

Here is the fix - either you sync wirelessly and your calendar information will come over or:

1. You go into the Versamail conduit and reconfigure it to sync only via hot sync. Also - you will have to delete the original versamail wireless account and recreate a new hot sync only account in order to get the registry to pay attention to this new configuration. You'll need to delete the account on both the PC and the Palm.
2. Then add a new account that is set to only sync via hot sync.

Once you have enabled the "stupid" versamail wireless sync - this "do nothing" issue is difficult to get rid of but the above two steps were what I managed to finally get it corrected on my Treo before it died last week.

Thanks for the answer. You were right it's a TX and I feel so stupid for not mentioning that. I was trying to make sure I included all pertinent information and forget the one of the most important. I will try the fix and thank you for your help.

Mark, don't worry we've all been there and done that. Good luck getting it fixed. I understand that Palm is planning on having the sync issue resolved by attempting to sync the entire PIM data wirelessly in the future but they really need to fine tune this option, IMHO.

I deleted all of the wireless email accounts and now the calander synchs fine. I only had wireless set up through versamail to retrieve emails at home. It was a convient way to check email before going to bed at night, so it is really not that big of deal that I lost that. Anyway thanks for all of your help.
