Does anyone know how to set up the tethering so that you can use outlook express connected to gmail while tethering? I had outlook setup to gmail when used on a wireless connection but this does not work while tethering

Right because with tethering through cricket you are going through a proxy server. Soooo it is webmail or nothing. Unless you can talk to google about using port 80 and 443 for imap & smtp 
but it would be easier to just use the web. Orrrrr Pay for one of cricket's datacarRAB then you can do whatever you want up to 5gb.
