outlook contacts

I use a Tungsten T and synchhronize to Outlook. The calendar symchronizes, but not the Contacts. After the hotsynch I get the following message:

There are two categories with the same (case-insensitive) name . Each category must have a unique spelling.

412: HHCategory
888: BaseConduit

Outlook Contacts synchronization failed
Conduit 'Outlook Contacts' Error: Unknown error. (FFFF)

The problem started after I tried PocketMirror to synch with Palm Desktop. I e-mailed PocketMirror several times for help but got no r5eply, so I removed the program, with no change in the erroor message.

Any help would be appreciated.

Three thoughts...
1) Have you made sure you deleted all associated files with Pocket Mirror?
2) Have you deleted the Pocket Mirror from the backup and archive files?
3) Have you tried a soft set?

Thanks Carol. Ive done (3) lots of times; but there's a big difference between thinking I've done (1) and (2) and actually doing them. I'll check.
