outdoor wireless internet with a mac?

i have a macbook and i live in a trailer like room (im in iraq) and there is a wireless internet signal outside but it doesn't make it inside my tin can of a house. what kind of antenna can i put outside to get the signal inside and still be compatible with my mac. i would prefer it be a usb adapter
i know there arent any stores in iraq but i can get anything off the internet
