Hi All!
I have a few questions, my husband and I are re-doing our deck on the side of our home and saw this "Texas" style bronze star at Lowes that I liked: http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=pr...
We were wondering if it would look good being hung next to our side door on our deck, on the siding. It's pretty large, but the side of the house is large enough that it wouldn't be too overbearing.
Also, if we DO decide to purchase this star--it's a heavy sucker! How would we go about fastening it to our siding without it falling down in the wind or ripping the siding off because of the weight? I tried picking it up yesterday at Lowes and I'd guess it was about 10-12 pounds, maybe more.
Any input or suggestions you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!!
