I had this same problem with my gas grill with 2 burners. one would work and the other one wouldn't. I thought mine would have been clogged too, but it wasn't. turned out that one of the burners has rusted through on some of the joints and was letting all of the gas escape to quickly so that it wouldn't burn.
I found a small piece of metal wire and twisted it around the burner to hold the two pieces back together and it started working fine again.
