There is an outdoor cat..not really even mine but I love her anyway....anywho..she got bad bite the other day..and today its dark...she came inside..I played with her and went to put her back...she sqirmed as if I was about to dunk her in the tub and growled towards the feild near our house..whats wrong?
Also, This cat is not ours. she lives next door but comes in over here sometimes.....Im not even suposed to ahve a cat in here...especially male...rest of my family wants him out and I can't stand to not protect him when he is that scared. there is no garage I can put him in....
The problem is. This is a boy cat...it isn't mine...and If it stays inside...it could..."go to the bathroom" all over the carpet...seriously ticking off my family. I asked the owner to take it to the vet when it got bit and they didn't. I can't take it to the vet because we simply can't aford the vet bills, hence why we don't have a cat over our own. anysuggestions?
Wendy- I would If I could...they love the cat but I doubt they can aford to send him to the vet either.

To everyone else:
I put the cat on the other porch(other sid eof the house) she was only half as frantic but refused to go home or off the porch( I know him..when you shut the door he takes the hint and goes about his bussiness) So I held him(tight..he wasnt to happy till we were completely off the porch) and walked him down the street leaving him on my neighbors porch..there door was open so I figured they would see him..I should have knocked and let them know but I don't think they would have listened...Im waiting to see if they don't let him in and he runs back...if that happens Ill knock on there door and make them put him inside..

Usually if a cat has suffered a bite, and you can see some marks, there will most likely be more marks underneath the fur. You should take the cute kitty to the vet and see what they think. There are lots of animals outside, especially at night. If you are putting the kitty back outside, he or she may be in danger. Is there any way you can keep kitty inside at night? The kitty can have lots of fun outside during the day when the more dangerous nocturnal animals are sleeping. The kitty can chase bugs and such, sleep under bushes, etc. The safest place for not-yours-but-cute-kitty, is inside, at night. Let kitty sleep by your feet on the bed, at night.

It's probably just scared of whatever bit it. By the way, is he current on his rabies vaccinations? If he's not, whatever got him could've had the rabies.

Might be that whatever bit her is still out there. Keep her safe (either inside or in a garage) and check it out.

It's a shame cause he wants in with you. This may sound terrible to some people, I would take him to a humane society where they would treat him and find him a loving home. Don't tell your disinterested neighbor.
